Stephanie and Luke | Aftershoot | London Ontario Wedding Photography

Some do a nice dinner out or a get away or many other ways of celebrating but Steph and Luke decided to do an AfterShoot in celebration of their first anniversary which is just around the corner on July 30.
One of the things our team always feels after weddings is that we will miss our couples. It’s such fun to work with them from their engagement, in most cases, through the wedding planning stage and to work with them closely on their wedding day. Then we always comment a few weeks later that we will miss working alongside of them, but for some it’s becoming more popular to do an AfterShoot. Sometimes just a few days or a few weeks later, but for Steph and Luke it was almost a year later as they wanted to celebrate in this special way. We were so happy to see them again and work with them as Luke and Steph are so special.
We wish you both a Happy First Anniversary and hope that you have so many more great years ahead and that each day is filled with amazing memories and special blessings!

The wedding is over and you finally get to breathe and catch a bit of sleep, and then a short time later you just want to put your dress back on. The day went so fast and you loved it, but now that things are over you’d love for a reason to put your dress back on.
Well at LMP we’ve been booked for quite a few AfterShoots with couples. With some of them we’ve done their wedding and they just want a bit more time in front of the camera and sometimes they just want a chance to go to a few other spots that we didn’t get to do on their wedding day. However, sometimes the couple has booked us to do the Aftershoot because we couldn’t do their wedding because we were previously booked or the wedding was a destination wedding. So we’ve had the opportunity as a team to go out and do the photos when the couple is totally relaxed after the wedding, sometimes, a couple of days, sometimes a week, or a month or so.

For Ashley and Ryan, so stunning and beautiful, as a photography team you could work with this couple all day and not get tired. There’s just something about them, like so many of our other couples. How could we be so lucky! Every couple in 2010 has been awesome and 2011 bride’s are no different…we can’t wait! Each and everyone of them are awesome! The cool thing is that every couple is a bit different from the couple the week before and the week after.
When you look at Ashley and Ryan you think wow! She’s amazing! He’s so lucky! And they connect with each other like magnets. They bring out the best in each other in everything they do!
Well we had the opportunity to work with Ashley and Ryan in their engagement shoot, their wedding and we also got the privilege to do an AfterShoot. Each time was wonderful and they were amazing! Thank you so much Ashley and Ryan for being so great and so fun to work with. We did their aftershoot on October 24 so they’ve had to wait a month to see these pics as we’ve been crazy busy but we hope these bring back alot of great memories of the time we spent together! To the two of you…..keep on loving each other the way you do now!

9 Brides | Aftershoot | Chatham Ontario Wedding Photography

9 Chatham Brides Rock the Streets. It was so wet and windy and extremely cool and yet some brave, beautiful, Chatham brides all got together to do a Photo Shoot in Chatham, Ontario where all of them live, except one!

Every Thursday evening this group of girls get together to encourage each other through every day life and have a Bible study together. They thought it would be fun to have a photo shoot and dress up back into their wedding dresses again. After the shoot they went back to Val’s house and watched “Say Yes to the Dress” and had some great “girl talk”

Miranda is the latest one in the group to get married just this past June. She loves pink, as you can tell from her dress. She always has a listening ear and a wise word of encouragement.
Brandy also is an encourager as well as always there to lend a hand.
Kerry, a down to earth girl. She really rocked the “fierce” look during the photo shoot.
Nicole, is so honest and open and always so kind.
Valerie Ann is full of spunk and fun for life. She always has a great way of lighting up the room.
Chelsea is an amazing baker and can make the most delicious and beautiful cakes.
Andrea can always be counted on to understand what you are going through and is so real.
Hope is the only one that now lives in Muskoka and had to leave the group after she got married.
Amy is a magnet to those around her. She loves people and cares so much about others.

Well, what can we say. LMP thought we might have to post pone the shoot as the weather was so terrible, but the girls found a nearby garden centre in Chatham to take some shots and then they were so brave to go out in the cold and wet and windy weather to get some shots outside as well. The cars were honking, and the wind was blowing so hard and the rain was pounding but they were laughing….most of the time…between teeth chattering they shared so many special moments.

We can’t believe you all were so fun and may we add kind of crazy!

Alicia and Sana | Aftershoot | London Ontario Wedding Photography

They met doing community service work with children and youth in an inner city neighborhood in Toronto.
The children and youth are a big part of Sana and Alicia coming together and a whole bus load of them and their families came out to the wedding, which was such a joy for them!
Sana proposed in a camping tent at the end of a scavenger hunt that Alicia had to run around to do.

Our team was already booked when Sana and Alicia inquired about LMP shooting their wedding but we said we love to do an Aftershoot. We were so thrilled to meet them at their honeymoon spot and have an incredible evening with them doing their shoot. They were so real and free to be themselves. It was absolutely a joy and not much posing in this shoot as we just captured the emotions as they happened with a bit of direction from our team!

They’re off to Zambia now for 8 months, doing public health and education work
Sana’s background: Indian and Iranian, Alicia’s background: Scottish & English (hence the various outfits)
In the prayer photos and with the harp we found this is something that really brings the two of them together, especially singing with the prayers. Their connection is on emotional, physical, but primarily a spiritual level.

Congratulations Alicia and Sana, what a great joy it was to work with you.

Melanie and Rob | Aftershoot | London Ontario Wedding Photography

After Shoots are so much fun and really relaxing. Melanie and Rob were married on Saturday, August 7 and our LMP team went out with them for an After Shoot just a couple days later. It was wonderful and Melanie and Rob weren’t stressed as their big day was over and since we couldn’t do their wedding but had done their engagement shoot it was so good to see them again. Melanie and Rob, so beautiful and rested just a couple days after their wedding went out and met us for some romantic shots down by the Thames.

Congratulations Melanie and Rob and we wish you a great life together!

Kayla and Brendan | Aftershoot | London Ontario Wedding Photography

Where does the time go? Where has this year gone? Kayla and Brendan are probably asking themselves this question as their first anniversary is just a few days away on May 30, 2010. What a beautiful wedding it was – something that you only see in magazines! Unbelievable gorgeous at the London Hunt Club! But what made Kayla and Brendan’s wedding even more perfect, was the two of them. A truly amazing couple!

Almost one year later Kayla got back into her wedding gown for an After Shoot with our Lee Mann Productions team. Kayla’s uncle and aunt, Dr. Calvin and Angie Stiller at Stonebridge Farm opened their arms to allow us to do their shoot at their breath taking property, their horse farm! As Angie gave our team a quick tour before the shoot we were just amazed at the beautiful property and the wonderful people they are.

Kayla and Brendan are just so incredibly sweet and everything they do together shows their love for each other and their commitment to each other. Our time together was perfect! You couldn’t ask for anything more….beautiful weather, beautiful horses, a beautiful property and an incredibly beautiful couple! Love you Kayla and Brendan and Happy First Anniversary! Our Lee Mann Productions team wishes you many, many more wonderful years together!

Shelley & Richard | Aftershoot | Hamilton Ontario

A gorgeous couple and so full of fun! Our Lee Mann Photography team had the awesome privilege to shoot Shelley and Richard’s wedding at Liuna Station, Hamilton, Ontario in 2008. One year later the beautiful Shelley got back into her wedding dress and handsome Richard into his suit and this time our Lee Mann Photography & Cinema team went out into Hamilton again for a fun after shoot to grab some stills as well as video! Shelley and Richard packed a great fun evening that started off with beautiful weather and when we got to the Hamilton, Escarpment later it was pouring rain. Still the couple couldn’t resist a kiss in the pouring rain with the beautiful city lights in the background. All the team and the couple headed to a laundromat. How appropriate! We’re thankful for great gear as all our cameras and equipment were totally soaked. Wouldn’t you know it, Shelley and Richard warmed up by the dryers and Shelley, even crawled inside. Brooke & Jonathon | Aftershoot

The LMP team was so excited to meet up again with a wonderful couple to do an After Shoot at Brooke’s parent’s farm in Aylmer.
We’ll share a glimpse back to their wedding day first, just 3 weeks before their After Shoot. Awakening in the morning of August 8 the rain was non-stop and the forecast said 100% rain all day.
Arriving for the bride’s photos at the family farm we couldn’t believe the preparations that had gone into the place. The drive shed was breathtaking with not a detail missed. Brooke’s dad and mom had worked since the engagement was announced a year ago to fulfill Brooke’s dream of having their reception in the transformed now beautiful drive shed. With a fresh coat of paint on the barn, beautiful window boxes everywhere, a bar that Jonathon and Brooke’s dad made that was incredible, and beautiful decorated tables draped chiffon and mini lights there was not a detail missing in the place. You could see your reflection in the hardwood dance floor that Brooke’s dad had made and everything was ready for the party when we arrived. Everything was perfect….except for the weather! We never let it stop our team so we brought lots of umbrellas for the wedding party and bride and groom and had a great time capturing the story of their day. It was a little damp but Brooke and Jonathon and their wedding party and family and friends had such an amazing party and so unique that it didn’t matter after a while that the rain never stopped until the end of the night. Wherever you were on August 8 you might remember the rainiest day of the summer….but even that made special memories for this couple.
On September 1st, we were so excited for the team to go and do an After Shoot back at the farm with Brooke and Jonathon.
It was a beautiful evening with our beautiful couple and we’d love to share a few shots.
We wish you years of happiness and fun in your life together Brooke and Jonathon!

Amy and Matt | Aftershoot

After their beautiful wedding in July, and awesome honeymoon in Cuba, it wasn’t long till Amy got back in her wedding dress and the gorgeous couple headed out with Lee Mann Photography for a fun evening of getting some more cool shots.
An old abandoned farm in the country was the location of choice by Lee. The old trucks were so cool and our team couldn’t wait to jump into the bushes to get the shots only to find out right away that we were in the middle of stinging nettles. Amy was lucky as she was up on the hood of the truck and on the tractor away from the weeds. We had a great time and then headed to a nearby wheat field for some more shots.
Amy and Matt, you are amazing and we wish you congratulations and happiness forever!

Kayla and Mike | Aftershoot

Kayla could hardly wait to get back into her wedding dress and Mike was ready to have a fun evening as it was almost their first Anniversary. This sweet couple was all smiles as the Lee Mann Photography Team met up with them and made our first stop down by the river. It was a beautiful evening and we just caught the sun going down before we headed to our own downtown London, Ontario. While walking and shooting on Richmond Street, Kayla and Mike were all smiles while hearing the horns beep again and the whistles (Check out the video at the bottom of the post!), people turning their heads and telling them what a gorgeous couple they were. At first they tried to explain it was their first anniversary and they were celebrating by doing an Aftershoot, but after a few comments, they just said thank-you, thank-you and enjoyed being in the limelight again. You may have seen us downtown on that Wednesday evening in early September carrying our gear, lights and walking with this most beautiful couple. From the street to alley ways we enjoyed it all.
