We had a rare chance to catch of glimpse of the Northern Lights here in London Ontario last night. So our team headed out to do a bit of shooting on a cold night, heres what we got.

So last night Southern Ontario got another round of intense storms. There were reports of downed trees and power lines just north of London Ontario on the 13 Mile Road near the town of Birr Ontario. So at first light this morning I went out to take a look. This is a little bit of what I saw…

It is bright and sunny here in London Ontario to start off the day. But don’t let that fool you! We are under a Tornado Watch. Things could get interesting. I will be headed out to do some storm chasing and will be live updating this blog when possible…That was yesterday before we headed out. My buddy Andrew and I headed up to Lake Huron just north of Grand Bend around 2pm to wait for the storms to come on shore. After watching the radar for a couple hours and thinking we might not get what we came for, it started to happen. And this is what we saw…

So I have always been interested in weather. And do a bit of storm chasing when I have time. So when I got the news of a tornado touching down just north of me in Goderich yesterday afternoon, I headed out to check it out and take a few photos. When I arrived, I was not prepared for the amount of destruction I saw in the town. Here are a few photos of the first few hours after the tornado struck.

So the London area had an intense thunderstorm early this morning that brought tons of lightning, hail, and strong winds and lasted for over 2 hours. The storm also took out power to much of the city and surrounding areas. Here is what I saw when the sun came up…

The theme was: Voices of Change Every leader has a unique voice. One offers direction, while another inspires. Some voices impact lives without uttering a single word.

Friday, March 18,2011 was an incredible evening at Centennial Hall, London Ontario where the OHM Fashion Show was held. OHM is a unique fashion event featuring some of the most spectacular student designs from across Ontario and highly choreographed dance sequences. Each year OHM donates the net proceeds raised through the fashion show to the Canadian Cancer Society to support the fight against cancer!
The show was a huge success and was sold out and LMP Productions was proud to be involved again this year.

After LMP has been involved for several years, we have to admit that no other university does fashion show season quite like the University of Western Ontario. Forget about cramming all the shows into seven days, Western’s season runs for nearly three months. What’s not to love about that?

Inarguably, the biggest show of the year (every year) is CAISA’s Fashion Show. They’ve been in production for twelve years and as they say, they’re only getting finer with age. This time around they made their production bigger and better than ever. The theme for 2011 was Allure, and the show was so beautiful with a full story line, team of dancers, and outrageously hilarious emcees.

Last Saturday March 19,2011 at Centennial Hall with a packed house there wasn’t a dull moment! It was fantastic and our photo and cinema team were so happy to be a part of it.

This year’s King’s Fashion Show was held last Friday, March 4,2011 in the evening to raise awareness and support for Lymphoma.

Lymphoma is the fifth largest cancer in Canada with the fastest rising incidence rates of any cancer. It is a blood cancer that affects over 7,500 new patients each year in Canada. Lymphoma is increasing in Canadian Young Adults as well. It is found in two primary forms:
Hodgkin’s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma:
Lymphoma Foundation Canada (LFC) is a national non-profit organization that provides education and support to people living with lymphoma, as well as funding lymphoma-based research in Canada.

The fashion show was packed with even a greater turn out than was expected.
All the models did an incredible job and the organizers of the event were amazing.
We want to thank King’s for allowing our Lee Mann Productions Team to be involved once again this year and we wish you continued success for future events.

On January 29/11 The University Students’ Council Held their Charity Ball 2011 – Western’s Sweet Dream In Support of The Boys & Girls Club of London! Several thousand students and guests attended the beautiful event at the Convention Centre, London, Ontario. Our LMP team was happy to participate this year again and be involved in this wonderful fundraising event!
