She’s a fashion designer. He’s been with the Canadian Forces in Afghanistan and is headed back. With a short break to come home Jenn and Mike managed to squeeze in a photo shoot with our team! Lee Mann Productions did Jenn and Mike’s wedding last September and then shortly after he left. You may remember their blog of their beautiful vintage wedding at the Delta Armouries, London, Ontario. Well Jenn and Mike just wanted to spend some time together as they love photos and Jenn has been spending a lot of time designing and sewing while Mike has been away! Take note of her outfits and the details….Jenn you are very talented and Mike you support her so much in her passion for design! What a fun photo shoot LMP had with you!

Over two years ago they had their first date at Chapters. They grabbed a coffee and spent a few hours looking at books and talking. By the end, neither, wanted to leave, and both wanted to see each other again. Before they knew it, they were dating. Then, before they knew it, they were in love.

Erin was invited to go to Scotland in June of 2009, to stand up with her friend who was getting married, and she asked Brian to go with her. After they started planning the trip, they decided to go to Paris for a couple of days on their way to Scotland. On the first day they arrived, Erin and Brian headed out right away to do some sightseeing. They started out at the Arc De Triumph, and walked down the amazing Champs Elysees. Then they had to cross the Siene River to get to the Eiffel Tower, and ended up on the most beautiful bridge in Paris, Ponte Alexandre III. As Erin and Brian were standing there on the bridge, looking out at the city, Brian said that he had to talk to her about something. He was so serious, she thought something was wrong! He stuck his hand in his jeans pocket and pulled out the ring. As Erin stood there in shock, he told her how much he loved her and he got down on one knee. Women were walking by calling out, “Bravo! Bravo!” and clapping, and he asked Erin to be his wife. Of course she said Yes! He later told Erin that he had planned on asking her at the Eiffel Tower, but that in that moment, on the bridge, it just felt right.

Lee Mann Productions team had an amazing day with Erin and Brian and their families and friends celebrating on their wedding day July 17th, 2010! Their reception was at The Old Court House, downtown, London, Ontario. Congratulations from our team and best wishes for an awesome life together!!

He knew he wanted to marry her. He told his grandma right from the beginning he would marry her. He tucked notes at the school they were working at, in her pockets. With an amazing sense of humor and both with winning smiles and hearts that are huge with love for others and each other Erica and Bryan woke up to an amazing day of sunshine on July 10. You usually hear that opposites attract and quite often that is true but in the case of this couple there are so many similarities! They both love their families, they are creative, they love sports, they teach, they love working with kids and they absolutely love laughing and having fun and love people! There was not a cloud in the sky as the guests gathered at the Baseball Hall of Fame, St. Mary’s Ontario. Erica and Bryan love baseball and the wedding was themed around baseball.

It was beautiful and the grounds where the reception was held at Grandma Westman’s farm were breathtaking. Erica, her grandma and family hadn’t missed any details and everything was amazing as the guests had an incredible time. The night ended in fireworks and a dance under the beautiful tent and our LMP team had a great time working with everyone and we want to wish Erica and Bryan a most incredible life together and best wishes as they share all their joys and dreams!

Anna and Jamie met in Christmas 2006 while they both worked at London Health Sciences Center (Although, Anna had met his sister a year before while travelling in Australia, which made for a very interesting connection as they found this out later. And that their mothers had worked together before we were born)

He persistently pursued her as she played hard to get. Then one day at work, they both just happened to end up in the elevator….just the two of them, as Anna hesitated to get on it knowing that he liked her. It was the most awkward conversation and what felt like the longest elevator ride ever. It was then he asked her for her number and he tried on several occasions to set up a first date.

Anna was not very accommodating, as she was still reluctant to date at all. After many failed attempts, they finally set up a first date.

Jamie took Anna snowmobiling (taking the city girl out into Ilderton) at night and packed a hot chocolate for the trip. They stopped at a snowmobiler shack in the woods and a series of funny events happened there…needless to say, they ended up in candlelight when all the while the light switch was there, and a pack of snowmobilers stopped in to join them. It made for an awesome first date, and Anna remembers wishing she was already in love with this guy because it was so perfect. Well, Jamie’s persistence paid off and 2 1/2 yrs later Jamie planned a trip to the very shack that they had their first date. It was spring time so they trudged through the fields instead of snowmobiling. He packed a lunch and chocolate milk. She was suspicious that something was up that day…after recapping their whole first date, in casual conversation he asked her to marry him. It was the greatest Easter ever. 3 1/2 years later now, and they are so in love and excited for the future, and after 3 years of having a long distance relationship, as she was in Buffalo for school, they are more than ready to get their lives started! Anna says, planning their wedding has been quite an adventure. Even more exciting, they bought a house in Arva, Ontario this year, got a new puppy (Mahoney) and are very excited for the wedding and a trip to the Philippines probably after the wedding. Anna says, “to this day, she thanks God that she got into that elevator!”

Our Lee Mann Productions Team couldn’t have had a greater time with them during their engagement shoot! Natural from the moment we got together- they were amazing. From the stop at their house they just bought, and being entertained by their new puppy….to the trip to the park with Jamie’s motorcycle and then the trip to his volunteer work with the Ilderton Fire Station!!! This couple is so much fun…thanks guys..you rock!! LMP has been so incredibly blessed to have couples to work with that are so amazing and you guys are one of them!! The Team couldn’t ask for a better way to spend September 18, this year than doing photos and cinema at your wedding!! Congratulations and we look forward to having a great time with you at your wedding!! Congratulations and our very best wishes to you both!!

When we get together with our couples to do their engagement shoot, often at the first they’re just a bit nervous but within minutes they’re laughing and joking and having a great time with natural smiles on their faces and sometimes they even forget that we are there grabbing shots of them. Candice and Tyler were one of those couples that just were free to be themselves and they brought along their dog as well. They wanted some shots in the country so our LMP team didn’t have to go too far and had a great relaxing evening with both of them, just being themselves and having fun. With their wedding just in August they are so busy planning and making everything perfect for their special day. Our team is so excited to shoot their wedding and to be there with them on August 7/10! Congratulations Candice and Tyler!

It’s pretty amazing when you get to shoot an incredible couple at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and they are so wonderful connecting with each other and in front of the camera! We can’t begin to say how fun Rebecca and Ken were and since it was Father’s Day they had booked a round of golf with Rebecca’s family to start at 10 a.m. so we only had less than an hour to do the shoot. But Rebecca and Ken were one of the couple’s that we feel we could have done an all day shoot with….they were so fun and relaxed!

Both Rebecca and Ken lived in Boston for a few years, but they didn’t meet there. They met in New York at the beginning of 2009. The both lived in NYC, just a few blocks from the Empire State Building. Ken is from Cleveland, Ohio, originally, and they both grew up watching the same Cleveland tv stations since you could get the station in Canada. It’s pretty funny as you can also get London radio stations in Cleveland too. Rebecca and Ken, madly in love got engaged on November 13,2009 and will be getting married November 13,2010!

Our Lee Mann Productions Team just loved working with this couple for our E-Shoot and can’t wait till November to their wedding! Congratulations Rebecca and Ken!

Sara and Chris love to do so many things together, including snowboarding in the winter and golfing in the summer. Our Lee Mann Productions team had a great time going out to do their Engagement Shoot with them. Sara is always smiling and Chris is so much fun too! They were teasing each other about their golfing as well as we loved capturing the moments while they were just being themselves and very comfortable in front of the camera. Sara and Chris will be married in London on Sunday, September 19,2010 and our team is looking forward to their special day! Congratulations to the two of you!

For their engagement shoot, our Lee Mann Productions Team had a short but exciting shoot with this beautiful couple at Matthew’s cottage….before the skies darkened and the rain came…

Nakita’s cousin, Raquel, shared the following story about this fantastic couple and we thought we’d share it with you below.

In a book, there is something called a preface which comes before an introduction. If we were to create a book about Matt and Nakita’s lives, the preface of this novel would begin on October 23rd, 2009. It would also be a pink hardcover, embroidered with diamond footballs. It would then tell the story like so… On that day Matt and Nakita drove up to the Carapella cottage, which was a normal weekend for them. Stopping to get some ingredients for supper, Nakita insisted they stop at Movie Gallery to rent “The Proposal”. “Maybe you can get some tips”, she said aloud to Matt. Matt didn’t want to rent this movie, and Nakita thought, “he doesn’t want it because it’s a chick flick, but I’m sure he’ll like it. Hopefully he’ll take mental notes, and if he does purpose I’ll need a princess dress with matching princess shoes!!!!” Matt on the other hand was probably thinking, “Food.” He was almost let off the hook as there were no movies left on the shelf. But with Princess Nakita on the case, she does what princesses do best, make people actually do their jobs! She got the disgruntled Movie Gallery employee to search the bottomless bin of movies to retrieve a recently turned in copy of “The Proposal”. She was just as ecstatic that a copy was there, as Matt is when he realizes that there are leftovers in the fridge. Finally arriving at home, Matt prepared dinner while Nakita insisted that they continue to watch the movie through it. Luckily for Matt the movie was turned off for more reasons than it being just a terrible chick-flick. He served the food, poured the wine, lit the candles, dimmed the lights, and you would even think that he hired a cellist too! Although that didn’t happen, it was still very romantic. After two bites, Matt said he wasn’t hungry anymore. Matt is always hungty, but blind to this, she continued to eat without any or little thought to what he said. Once Matt insisted that she must sit while he cleans up, that little pink light bulb in her head finally lit up. She thought he was getting ready some kind of dessert but he was really making sure that that little wooden box’s contents hadn’t been misplaced. In Nakita’s eyes, he approached her emptied handed, but in Matt’s eyes he was coming to take her hand in marriage. At the table, he took both of her hands and told her that he had a serious problem; he could no longer be her boyfriend. Quickly trying to think of any recent domestics they’ve had, Nakita couldn’t figure out what was going on, and there was no way they were going to break up. He told her that he couldn’t be her boyfriend anymore because he wanted to be her husband. He got down on one knee and recited a speech that neither of them can remember but can only recall the feelings that they shared of unconditional love. He pulled that little brown box out of his pocket and asked her, “ Will you marry me?”. Her response, “Are you serious?”. He then opened up the box we all know that her answer was a very big and happy “Yes”. And if that yes was a color it was would be pink. She threw her arms around him and said of course through tears of joy. They hugged, kissed, and probably danced too! As Matt was enjoying a real plate of food, Nakita was too excited to stomach anything. She put on her ring, they popped champagne, and they made phone calls to loved ones. In the morning, Nakita pretty much had her entire wedding planned. This would be the preface to Matt and Nakita’s book. The introduction will be written on June 11th, 2011, with the opening sentence on page one being “I do.”

A little behind the scenes of the LMP team trying to stay dry…

The bond of roommates is very tight and Sarah, Bre, and Ashley have experienced this as they shared an apartment together! The girls have spent alot of time together over the past year or so, between school, assignments and work. They got along amazing and then….. Sarah got the call that she got a job in Banff, Alberta and now there was happiness for Sarah but sadness as the threesome would be broken! There is no better way to keep those fun and great memories alive than to spend an evening with the LMP team doing a photo shoot, so we headed out to a fantastic private location, and climbed up on old trucks and tractors and captured shots of the girls running through the wheat field! What great memories!

Sarah, we wish you all the best as you enjoy your great job in Banff and Brie and Ashley our team wishes you all the best in your future at school and in your careers!

Juliane was so organized! She had everything just laid out perfectly for their wedding day! It was beautiful! It was hot!

The Elm Hurst Inn, Ingersoll, Ontario was the beautiful setting for the gorgeous couple. It started with the Chinese Tea Ceremony and the families of Juliane and Gordon gathered around to celebrate their traditions with them. Within a short time, Julianne and her girls got ready and headed down to the pond at the Elmhurst Inn where many family members and friends gathered in the sunshine to wait for the beautiful bride to walk down the aisle. We loved the entrance of the groomsmen and groom! Dancing down the aisle the guys had all of us in big smiles as it was the perfect start to such a wonderful ceremony. Julianne had not missed anything in planning their special day! It was perfect and everything was breathtaking! Julianne was stunning and Gordon looked wonderful too!

Our LMP team loved sharing in their day by doing their wedding photography and the Lee Mann Productions team wants to take this moment to wish Julianne and Gordon congratulations and best wishes for a wonderful life together and years of happiness!
