Most couples come to our team at Lee Mann Productions, for a few reasons it seems. They often can’t really put their finger on what it is that they like but some words like creative, modern, and a great experience come up in our conversation with them.
Lee and the team just can’t seem to sit still and do the ordinary as that’s boring for everyone. Every couple wants shots that don’t look the same as any other couple. They are unique and they want their photo and cinema experience unique too.
We also want people to enjoy the experience. Sure at first the engagement shoot might feel a bit awkward for some, but the advantage of a team working with you is that before you know it we are laughing and you are having fun, enjoying the experience, almost forgetting that we’re taking pictures. We definitely do direct in the shots, although we’re not really into the stuff that looks too posed. We want a real look with real expressions and real connections between our couples, and that comes when people are comfortable.
Well, many times it just makes our job so fun, cool and rewarding when couples come to us and they love having photos taken. They’re not exactly sure how it should be done but they’re willing to work outside the box a bit. Then we get excited and with Ellen and Kevin it was just like that.
The evening was lovely and great to go to the beach and when all eyes were on them on the Main Street of Grand Bend, Ontario they might have felt a bit awkward at first, but soon they just had fun! Then we took them to a spot that was very private and we were able to get some shots down at the beach and they had some balloons that were fun props as you can see.
Ellen and Kevin met and started dating in high school. While doing 4 years at McMaster University, for Ellen and 4 years at Queen’s University, for Kevin, they both worked hard. They currently live in Toronto, while Ellen is attending Brock University for Teacher Education
The two have a new baby -their new puppy Ruby.
Ellen and Kevin love the beach as it means a lot to them as they got engaged in St. Augustine Florida on the beach in April 2011.
Their wedding is set for August 2013. Congratulations to the two of you, Ellen and Kevin. Have fun planning your wedding!

Some do a nice dinner out or a get away or many other ways of celebrating but Steph and Luke decided to do an AfterShoot in celebration of their first anniversary which is just around the corner on July 30.
One of the things our team always feels after weddings is that we will miss our couples. It’s such fun to work with them from their engagement, in most cases, through the wedding planning stage and to work with them closely on their wedding day. Then we always comment a few weeks later that we will miss working alongside of them, but for some it’s becoming more popular to do an AfterShoot. Sometimes just a few days or a few weeks later, but for Steph and Luke it was almost a year later as they wanted to celebrate in this special way. We were so happy to see them again and work with them as Luke and Steph are so special.
We wish you both a Happy First Anniversary and hope that you have so many more great years ahead and that each day is filled with amazing memories and special blessings!

In a little town about 9 hours north of London, is a very small town, made up mainly of an army base!
Sarah and Shane fell in love and Sarah decided to move from London to Petawawa to join in marriage with Shane who is in the military. When our LMP team arrived in Petawawa, Ontario, on the July long weekend, after the long drive, Sarah gave us a quick tour of the town. We were excited to find some cool rapids and a nice beach on the base where the ceremony was going to be held.
Although there isn’t too much to do in Petawawa unless of course you’re in the military, they managed to have the most amazing fireworks we have ever seen on Canada Day.
When we woke up the morning of the wedding, the skies were burning hot. We went to a house on the base first where the guys, who were so much fun, were getting ready and then over to Sarah’s new house where little Abby, Shane’s daughter and the bridesmaids were getting ready too!
It kept getting hotter as the day went along but thanks to the groomsmen they kept the wedding party hydrated by doing a water run!

The first night she met Tyson she made him pinky swear here that he was going to call her the next day… and he did and they have been together ever since. On June 20th 2011 Tyson and her have been together for 6 years.
Tyson can always get Cas to laugh with all of his impersonations! ie: Hermie being a great one, as Tyson is a dentist.
Their days are filled with Friends, Jays games, cooking, Rollerblading, Going to the movies and out to dinner! But in the evening is when he always asks her, “Did you remember to floss?”
It was a beautiful evening that LMP had with the two of them doing their engagement shoot! Most of the evening was spent trekking through the water, climbing over rocks, and you two were just great!
Congratulations Cas and Tyson and we are looking forward to your wedding October 8, 2011!

Keith and Peggy met on a stunning warm Monday evening in early May for the first time in Chapters after emailing back and forth for a couple of months. Peggy had just bought a book that he was currently reading and neither of them has finished this book to date. Time flew by once they started talking and before they knew it they were closing up for the evening. Keith was such a gentleman and asked if he could take her on a real date the coming weekend after his football game. He was so sore but still humoured Peggy and walked around the park first before dinner. Dates followed with Peggy convincing to skip an afternoon of work to have lunch with her in the park and the two of them battling it out on xbox. She’s not exactly sure the moment she knew that she loved him but she just remembered looking at him and realizing that she didn’t want to be with anyone else or without him. Peggy always has been told that guys know right from the start and with girls it takes a bit and this was the case. Keith says he knew right away and she loves him for being strong and patient enough to let her come to love him as much as he felt for her.

Keith proposed to Peggy on Christmas eve. Christmas is one of her favourite times of year and one of the hardest for Keith. He picked her church where he knew she wanted to be married to propose. He wasn’t nervous till driving to her house to take her mom and her to church that evening but was very good at hiding it once he got there. She had no idea. It was a very crisp, cold evening when he pulled her to the side outside. She was holding onto him so tightly because she was cold that she wouldn’t let him get down on one knee. It was beautiful with the lights from inside the church spilling out through the stained glassed windows creating a gorgeous display of colour across the snow. Keith asked Peggy to marry him. She cried and said yes. Then asked if they could go back inside for she was freezing.

They love to travel and be together finding the simple pleasures drawing them closer and making them the happiest. Whether it be walking hand and hand in Central Park in New York, hiking through the Bruce Trail to camp at Cypress Lake, working side by side in the kitchen to prepare a meal, or just curled up on the couch wrapped in each other’s arms watching a movie or playing a game.

Our team had a great time with Peggy and Keith and can’t wait till their wedding next May! Congratulations!

After Shoots are so much fun and really relaxing. Melanie and Rob were married on Saturday, August 7 and our LMP team went out with them for an After Shoot just a couple days later. It was wonderful and Melanie and Rob weren’t stressed as their big day was over and since we couldn’t do their wedding but had done their engagement shoot it was so good to see them again. Melanie and Rob, so beautiful and rested just a couple days after their wedding went out and met us for some romantic shots down by the Thames.

Brandon and Valerie were 16 when they met. Valerie’s good friend Sarah had invited her to stay with her and her family at a cottage they rented in Tobermory, Ontario. Tobermory is renowned for their lighthouses, fresh water diving excursions, as well as their crystal clear water and beautiful scenery. Brandon’s grandparents have owned a cottage in Tobermory for many years, and therefore Brandon and his family spend a lot of time there each summer. On Valerie’s second last day at the cottage, Sarah and her decided to take her younger sister to the rocks near the water, which over look the famous little tub lighthouse. The girls were cliff jumping into the water when they noticed Sarah’s sister talking to two guys and their big Weimaraner dog Crystal. Crystal was also cliff jumping into the water to retrieve a stick the guys kept throwing into the water. Sarah and Valerie went over to make sure An wasn’t getting into trouble and was safe. The girls started up a conversation with the guys who turned out to be Brandon and his older brother Ryan. They decided to meet up later on in the evening for a game of basketball, followed by more cliff jumping and a camp fire. Valerie and Brandon exchanged emails, and when she arrived back home, within days, Brandon emailed Valerie saying she had left a “lasting impression” on him. From then on Valerie and Brandon dated long distance throughout high school and university.
Now Valerie’s a nurse and Brandon is in the hiring stage for the OPP and they are so excited as he proposed just a few weeks ago while they were apple picking which they do every Thanksgiving near Brandon’s home town.
After having a great E-Session with Valerie and Brandon climbing hills and rocks and crossing the river, it seemed only right to visit an apple orchard for a few special shots…Thanksgiving and apple time will always be special for them as Brandon got down on one knee in the middle of the orchard to propose to Valerie just this past Thanksgiving.
