Anna and Jamie met in Christmas 2006 while they both worked at London Health Sciences Center (Although, Anna had met his sister a year before while travelling in Australia, which made for a very interesting connection as they found this out later. And that their mothers had worked together before we were born)

He persistently pursued her as she played hard to get. Then one day at work, they both just happened to end up in the elevator….just the two of them, as Anna hesitated to get on it knowing that he liked her. It was the most awkward conversation and what felt like the longest elevator ride ever. It was then he asked her for her number and he tried on several occasions to set up a first date.

Anna was not very accommodating, as she was still reluctant to date at all. After many failed attempts, they finally set up a first date.

Jamie took Anna snowmobiling (taking the city girl out into Ilderton) at night and packed a hot chocolate for the trip. They stopped at a snowmobiler shack in the woods and a series of funny events happened there…needless to say, they ended up in candlelight when all the while the light switch was there, and a pack of snowmobilers stopped in to join them. It made for an awesome first date, and Anna remembers wishing she was already in love with this guy because it was so perfect. Well, Jamie’s persistence paid off and 2 1/2 yrs later Jamie planned a trip to the very shack that they had their first date. It was spring time so they trudged through the fields instead of snowmobiling. He packed a lunch and chocolate milk. She was suspicious that something was up that day…after recapping their whole first date, in casual conversation he asked her to marry him. It was the greatest Easter ever. 3 1/2 years later now, and they are so in love and excited for the future, and after 3 years of having a long distance relationship, as she was in Buffalo for school, they are more than ready to get their lives started! Anna says, planning their wedding has been quite an adventure. Even more exciting, they bought a house in Arva, Ontario this year, got a new puppy (Mahoney) and are very excited for the wedding and a trip to the Philippines probably after the wedding. Anna says, “to this day, she thanks God that she got into that elevator!”

Our Lee Mann Productions Team couldn’t have had a greater time with them during their engagement shoot! Natural from the moment we got together- they were amazing. From the stop at their house they just bought, and being entertained by their new puppy….to the trip to the park with Jamie’s motorcycle and then the trip to his volunteer work with the Ilderton Fire Station!!! This couple is so much fun…thanks guys..you rock!! LMP has been so incredibly blessed to have couples to work with that are so amazing and you guys are one of them!! The Team couldn’t ask for a better way to spend September 18, this year than doing photos and cinema at your wedding!! The bond of roommates is very tight and Sarah, Bre, and Ashley have experienced this as they shared an apartment together! The girls have spent alot of time together over the past year or so, between school, assignments and work. They got along amazing and then….. Sarah got the call that she got a job in Banff, Alberta and now there was happiness for Sarah but sadness as the threesome would be broken! There is no better way to keep those fun and great memories alive than to spend an evening with the LMP team doing a photo shoot, so we headed out to a fantastic private location, and climbed up on old trucks and tractors and captured shots of the girls running through the wheat field! What great memories!

Sarah, we wish you all the best as you enjoy your great job in Banff and Brie and Ashley our team wishes you all the best in your future at school and in your careers!

The home farm looked perfect! Jennifer’s parent’s had worked so hard on making beautiful gardens, a gorgeous pond, the tent was up and everything was ready to go, the sun was shining and it was really hot. About 20 minutes before the ceremony, the skies got dark and the clouds came in. Lee, always following the weather, checked the radar and gave us an update that we were going to get rain but that it would only last about 20 minutes. It just happened to be the time that the ceremony would start shortly. As the last guests arrived, the skies dumped heavy rains and it sent everyone scurrying to take cover for a short time. But it wasn’t long until the chairs were dried, the guests took their seats between now lighter raindrops and we heard the sounds of engines rounding the corner. What a grand entrance! Never before has our Lee Mann Productions team seen this at a wedding! We knew Dane and his groomsmen were full of fun as earlier in the day when we went to take their shots they were playing horseshoes, baseball and even brought out Dane’s gun on Dane’s country property. So we shouldn’t have been surprised when the guys arrived, across the lawn from a farm across the road…but not by foot! They came so fast Lee almost ended up on the ground, as they came by ski-doo …yes, all of them whipping in front of where the guests were all seated for the ceremony! Well guys, you rock! That was cool!

As the beautiful Jenn made her entrance with her dad from the family farm house, Dane’s smile got even bigger than it already was. Dane was enjoying the day so far, so much but now seeing his beautiful bride and the skies clear, he was overjoyed. Jenn was stunning and her bridesmaids were beautiful too! Everything was perfect! Our LMP team had such a great time working with you, Jenn and Dane and your family and friends! What a celebration!

About 400 people packed the Ilderton Community Center to watch Scott and Tessa win the Gold in Figure Skating at the 2010 Winter Olympics! Congrats Scott and Tessa! Ilderton is proud of you!

After their beautiful wedding in July, and awesome honeymoon in Cuba, it wasn’t long till Amy got back in her wedding dress and the gorgeous couple headed out with Lee Mann Photography for a fun evening of getting some more cool shots.
An old abandoned farm in the country was the location of choice by Lee. The old trucks were so cool and our team couldn’t wait to jump into the bushes to get the shots only to find out right away that we were in the middle of stinging nettles. Amy was lucky as she was up on the hood of the truck and on the tractor away from the weeds. We had a great time and then headed to a nearby wheat field for some more shots.
