If you want to have a “feel good day” just take a look at this couple. As Lee was editing their gallery he was smiling and enjoying Lauren and Andrew’s expressions so much. They say smiling and laughing is contagious and this great couple made us smile so much! Their gallery is full of wonderful expressions, so we just pulled a sample for the blog here so you can enjoy them too! They were so fun to work with and their wedding is just around the corner on June 24/11. We can’t wait! Congratulations Lauren and Andrew!

It all started when he was her football coach and now about 8 years later he is her best friend and the love of her life and on Saturday, February 26th they were full of smiles as they exchanged vows at Colbourne Street United Church, London, Ontario.

Most couples would rather choose spring, summer, or fall to get married but for Meagan and Chris they wanted a winter wedding! In fact they really wanted an outside winter wedding, but the spot just didn’t work out for the outside part but they did have a gorgeous winter February day, with the reception held at Centennial Hall, London, Ontario. Actually it started out not too cold and a little snowy, but by the end of the afternoon the wedding party would tell you it was quite cold, not just a little; but they were so fun to work with and our team loved every minute doing their cinematography and photos as well.
As you will agree, Meagan took Chris’ breath away as she came down the aisle toward him. He felt so lucky…she was beautiful inside and out and for Meagan she couldn’t wait to be his wife!

What a lot of fun we had for all parts of the day but it was cool that just before the ceremony, in fact about 30 minutes before, the guys threw on their skates at Victoria Park, London, Ontario and played some hockey…..in their tuxes!

Meagan and Chris, you are a wonderful couple, just meant to be and LMP wishes you congratulations! Our team had a blast and doesn’t want it to be over….we can’t wait to do an AfterShoot with you!

Snow, snow, snow and more snow….and then finally it stopped – just in time! What a wonderful day just one week before Christmas as the bells rang at St. Peter’s Basilica, London, Ontario, as Alice walked down the aisle and saw Derek waiting for her at the front of the church.
The gusts of wind started again right after the ceremony but I don’t think there has ever been a braver wedding party to put on their skates and head for the ice rink at Victoria Park. Alice is a figure skater, so it was perfect. As teeth were chattering and hot chocolate in their hands absolutely every one of the wedding party and their parents were full of smiles at the rink. Then back to Forest City National Golf Club to warm up and enjoy the beautiful reception.

Congratulations Alice and Derek and we hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Australia and caught a few rays of their summer! Our team had a great time doing your wedding photography and working with you both and your fun and crazy wedding party!

The wedding is over and you finally get to breathe and catch a bit of sleep, and then a short time later you just want to put your dress back on. The day went so fast and you loved it, but now that things are over you’d love for a reason to put your dress back on.
Well at LMP we’ve been booked for quite a few AfterShoots with couples. With some of them we’ve done their wedding and they just want a bit more time in front of the camera and sometimes they just want a chance to go to a few other spots that we didn’t get to do on their wedding day. However, sometimes the couple has booked us to do the Aftershoot because we couldn’t do their wedding because we were previously booked or the wedding was a destination wedding. So we’ve had the opportunity as a team to go out and do the photos when the couple is totally relaxed after the wedding, sometimes, a couple of days, sometimes a week, or a month or so.

For Ashley and Ryan, so stunning and beautiful, as a photography team you could work with this couple all day and not get tired. There’s just something about them, like so many of our other couples. How could we be so lucky! Every couple in 2010 has been awesome and 2011 bride’s are no different…we can’t wait! Each and everyone of them are awesome! The cool thing is that every couple is a bit different from the couple the week before and the week after.
When you look at Ashley and Ryan you think wow! She’s amazing! He’s so lucky! And they connect with each other like magnets. They bring out the best in each other in everything they do!
Well we had the opportunity to work with Ashley and Ryan in their engagement shoot, their wedding and we also got the privilege to do an AfterShoot. Each time was wonderful and they were amazing! Thank you so much Ashley and Ryan for being so great and so fun to work with. We did their aftershoot on October 24 so they’ve had to wait a month to see these pics as we’ve been crazy busy but we hope these bring back alot of great memories of the time we spent together! To the two of you…..keep on loving each other the way you do now!

One of the favorite things that Lee Mann Productions Photography and Cinema team loves is to meet with couples and sit and talk with them about how they met and what attracted them to each other and hear about their engagement.  We love the way they interact as they share their story.  Our LMP team loves that we can be involved in this type of work where no two stories are the same, no two couples are the same, and no two personalities are exactly the same.  We have found that the guys have the engagement often planned for awhile and yet they want the ultimate moment to ask her.  We love the connection that we feel after we have met with the couples and then can’t wait to see them again at their Engagement Shoot.

Laura and Mike, are one of those couples that just absolutely love to be together and specifically love laughing and having a great time together.  They want to be themselves letting both their personalities come through in their photos.  So our Lee Mann Productions team met Laura and Mike at Western where they have both spend a great deal of time.  They brought their red sled for a great time on the hill, but unfortunately even though the snow wasn’t great for sledding, it was great for throwing at each other and having fun in.  After a couple other stops for the evening, we all warmed up while Laura and Mike enjoyed some time connecting while sipping on a milk shake.

Michael Pace and Laura Downs are set to wed in April 2012. Mike was born in Guelph, Ontario while Laura grew up in Mississauga, Ontario. Laura’s family moved to Kincardine, Ontario in 2004. Laura and Mike met in their first year at the University of Western Ontario in 2004. They found love amongst the craziness of Saugeen Maitland Hall, also nicknamed “the Zoo.” They met briefly at the “frosh” football game and then didn’t meet again until April 2005 at a Hawaiian Party.  Almost 5 years later, they are engaged and planning their wedding.

The engagement took place on July 27, 2009 on a trip through Europe. At their first destination, Paris, France, Mike proposed to Laura underneath the Eiffel Tower. They spent the rest of their “engagement honeymoon” traveling through Southern France and Italy.

They are planning to have their reception in Southwestern Ontario. For their ceremony, they are researching exotic and adventurous destination ideas. The couple loves traveling and plan to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa in the next few years. They also love cooking, volunteering with animals at the Humane Society, camping, watching movies and playing music. They were both enthusiastic members of the Western Mustang Marching Band at Western.

Mike is currently completing his Master’s in Neuroscience at Western and hopes to get into medical school. Laura recently completed her Master’s in Journalism and is now a freelance writer and editor. LMP wants to say that our team had an absolutely wonderful evening with you doing your engagement photography and we want to say best wishes and congratulations from our team to both of you!

Salim Chahbar and Kaouthar Abouzeenni are set to be wed on February 13, 2010.

Salim was born and raised in London Ontario while Kaouthar grew up in the small town of Woodstock, Ontario. The couple met at a holiday party thrown by one of Kaouthar’s best friends who happened to be Salim’s cousin. The matchmaker insisted that the two would make the perfect couple. Soon after, the couple went on to realize that their paths had crossed several times throughout their childhood as they frequently played on the same street and even in the same house.

The engagement took place on November 1, 2009 in Woodstock, Ontario. It only took two midnight shifts at the Abouzeenni family bakery for Salim to muster up the courage to ask Kaouthar’s father for his blessing. With her fathers permission in hand, Salim placed the ring on Kaouthar’s finger who quickly said YES and the rest is history.

Lee Mann Photography had a wonderful time doing Salim’s and Kaouthar’s E-Session. After getting rained out at the end of the fall we were able to re-schedule to a perfect but very cold evening,with a touch of snow on the ground just before Christmas! While very relaxed in front of the camera, Salim and Kaouthar, were comfortable just being themselves while our Lee Mann Photography Team caught the shots.

With the wedding only about 3 weeks away, and will be held at the Convention Centre in London Ontario, the couple has everything in place and is so excited for their special day, and our Team can’t wait as well.
